Encelium Technologies is an advanced lighting control company which
has developed a proprietary building energy control system that reduces
lighting related energy costs by 50% to 80% while at the same time improving
lighting quality, occupant productivity and workplace ergonomics. Recent
customers include Aqua America, Astra Zeneca and Thomas Jefferson Hospital.
Blue Hill led equity investments in the company’s Series A round
along with two other Toronto based firms. Blue Hill also provided follow-on
mezzanine debt to fund further growth of the company. Blue Hill holds
a seat on the Encelium board.
